The WageIndicator Foundation has published their Living Wage data for a selection of countries through their national WageIndicator websites.
WageIndicator has been developing their Living Wage database since 2014, starting with data from 45 countries in the first release, and growing it to include data from over 150 countries, covering more than 2,500 regions. The Living Wage estimates will be available in the applicable national languages and currencies. Currently, there is a limitation of one region per email address or phone number.
These estimates are useful for workers, trade unions, and employers as they work towards fair compensation, especially given that many Minimum Wage earners struggle to cover their cost of living.
In countries where the Minimum Wage is higher than the Living Wage, WageIndicator will show the Minimum Wage. In Nordic countries where Collective Agreement lowest wages might be higher than Living Wages, WageIndicator will show the lowest Collective Agreement wages.
If you’re not a worker, a member of a trade union, or an employer, or if you need data for multiple regions, you can purchase the data from our sales portal or get in touch with our team.
