The ESRS Professional Certification Program is a six-course learning path that covers all aspects of reporting with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. If you complete all courses and pass the exam, you will be awarded the title “GRI Certified ESRS Sustainability Professional” and be listed in the Directory of GRI Certified Sustainability Professionals on the GRI website.
The ESRS Professional Certification Program is designed for individuals involved in or preparing to meet the challenges of CSRD reporting. It offers professional development tailored to building the knowledge, expertise, and skills required for the effective application of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
GRI offers self-paced e-learning courses via the GRI Academy, to add up to a certification or to be taken separately:
1. Introduction to the CSRD and Reporting with the ESRS – 2h – €100
2. Stakeholder Engagement for ESRS Reporting – 1.5h – €200
3. Double Materiality Assessment under the ESRS -3h – €250
4. How to Collect and Report Material Information under the ESRS – 2h – €200
5. Preparing for External Assurance for ESRS Reporting – 1.5h – €200
6. Digital Reporting under the CSRD – 2h – €200
7. ESRS Certification Exam – 1h – €100
You can also take all or some of the courses through GRI’s Certified Training Partners’ course offerings, which are often live online or in person, which can be a more engaging experience.
