Sustainability is everyone’s business. From HR to Operations, Finance to Marketing, every team has a role to play in helping organisations meet their environmental and social goals. But right now, most employees don’t feel confident or equipped to take action in their day-to-day work.
Our Skills Bootcamp helps fix that — by giving professionals the skills, tools and confidence to lead on sustainability from wherever they sit. With supporting funding by West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, you can complete the training, or train your people, and turn your sustainability ambitions into practical action.
This is a hands-on, practical course designed to embed sustainability into real roles and decisions — not just teach high-level theory.
Supported with funding by West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
Participants gain:
- A deep understanding of sustainability concepts and frameworks
- Training in climate science, carbon literacy and environmental stewardship
- Practical tools for inclusive leadership and change management
- Confidence to design and deliver strategies that make an impact
- A collaborative space to apply learnings to live business challenges
All delivered by our network of sustainability consultants, communicators and changemakers.
This Bootcamp is supported by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
- Free for self-employed participants
- Co-funded for businesses, with a small contribution required based on company size.
You must be employed or self-employed in Bristol, Bath, North or North East Somerset, or South Gloucestershire to take part.
This Skills Bootcamp is designed for professionals who want sustainability to be part of their day job — and part of their business strategy.
You might be:
- A manager or team lead looking to embed sustainability in your function
- A business owner preparing to futureproof operations and supply chains
- A self-employed professional wanting to build credibility and capability
- Someone in HR, marketing, finance, procurement, operations or sales — looking for tools, not just talk
You don’t need to be a sustainability expert. You just need the curiosity to learn, and the drive to lead from where you are.
